There’s something undeniably special about gathering women with purpose, intention, and heart, especially by the ocean. THATPENNY | CONNECT had the honor of hosting and curating a beautiful oceanside luncheon in collaboration with Sakara. The experience was thoughtfully created with three goals in mind: to connect trailblazing women in our community, to foster meaningful growth around an incredible female-founded brand, and to give back locally to Neighbor to Neighbor. It was a day rooted in intention, and a powerful reminder that when women come together, something truly meaningful unfolds.
From the moment guests arrived, the energy was warm, inspiring, and effortlessly elevated. We welcomed a group of brilliant, creative, and driven women who gathered first for cocktails by Avaline, setting the tone for a relaxed yet refined afternoon. Guests enjoyed shopping with thoughtfully curated pop-ups including With Olivia Grace, EpicLight Beauty, and LoveShackFancy who all added layers of discovery and delight.
One of the most memorable moments of the day was an intimate conversation featuring Tierney Wilson, CMO of Sakara, in discussion with the host of All Over Again Podcast, who graciously opened her home for this gathering. Their conversation offered an honest and inspiring look into building, growing, and leading within a purpose-driven brand leaving guests both energized and deeply connected.
As the afternoon unfolded, connections were made, stories were shared, and a genuine sense of community took shape. It was a reminder that beyond brands and business, the true power lies in bringing people together in meaningful ways.
The setting itself felt like a dream. Tables were beautifully designed by Roonee, embracing a beachy, feminine, and plant-based aesthetic that perfectly complemented the oceanside backdrop. Every detail was intentional, creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and welcoming.
